The Cost Of Keeping Your Baby Cute
If you have a baby, or have had a baby in your life, is it or was it important to you that people perceive your baby as cute?
I live in Hollywood and I have seen many small boutique stores that sell baby clothes. These boutique stores are next to high end boutique shops that have clothing items selling for thousands of dollars.
I imagine that some of these baby boutiques also sell clothing that costs anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Should any baby clothing cost more than a hundred dollars? Aside from perhaps formal wear, like a baby tuxedo, why should a baby’s outfit cost hundreds or thousands of dollars?
I suppose it’s important for some California mothers to have exceptionally cute and well dressed babies. The babies probably don’t care, however, after they are raised dressing this way, they may become accustomed to it and find a need to dress in expensive clothing the rest of their lives. In this case, I hope that the parents are willing to pay for this need, because in this tough economy, it is hard enough to pay regular bills, let along excessive clothing costs.
